the class you're looking for
Yoga is for every body and every age. We bring a wide variety of classes, workshops, trainings, and private sessions led by highly skilled instructors to guide you into this practice that affords you numerous physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits. All classes focus on breath as a path to healing and link breath with movement to bring that healing into the body, mind and spirit.
With over 30 classes a week ranging from chair, gentle, and therapeutic, to vinyasa flow, heated/hot power, and astanga, we have a class that will meet you exactly where you are and take you where you need to be. Led by our instructors, you will journey into a practice that blends your level of intensity with mindfulness and breath to create the perfect alchemical reaction that restores balance & strength, steadiness & ease.
From brand new practitioners to advanced yogis needing to reset and calm, beginner classes are for everyone. Our classes will always offer you ‘kramas’ or stages of a pose that you can customize with the use of props to make it more accessible for your body. All classes, with the exception of chair and meditation, require the ability to get on the floor and from that space offer gentle opening to the body and mind.
This restorative “inner-body” class uses a series of guided visualizations and deep relaxation techniques to move beyond the conditioned mind into a state of expanded self-awareness. Access to the deeper realms of the mind allows us to release the sources of tension, anxiety, unwanted habits, and self-limiting beliefs and to awaken our greatest inner potential. It is widely touted that 30 minutes of yoga nidra is the equivalent of 2-3 hours of deep sleep and its efficacy is currently under review in government clinical trials.
This is a great option for those who struggle with getting up and down from the floor. The chair will be used for seated poses and as a balance point for standing postures. The practice is especially beneficial to those who are suffering from the aches and pains of age, from the symptoms of chronic disease, or recovering from illness with arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer recovery, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, post-op rehabilitation, and others with limited mobility.
This class is designed for those who are recovering from or living with chronic pain, experience high levels of stress, are recovering from an illness, or experience physical limitations. The class is a blend of gentle and supported poses, (physical) practice, breathwork, and guided meditation. In this class we work through the many layers of yoga to cultivate ease, compassion, and clarity in living life more openly, less reactively, and with increased contentment. Perfect for beginners!
