Massage therapists

Katie Salvatore has a passion for working with those suffering from chronic pain or injury. A Licensed Massage Therapist of 6 years was a graduate of Iowa School of Beauty in Ankeny, IA. She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, specifically of the neck and back ( but she also loves a good Swedish, prenatal, or therapeutic massage!) Another one of her specialties is Lava Shell Massage, which uses gently heated Tiger clam shells to add an incredibly relaxing and unique texture to the treatment! In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband and 7 year old son, watching football, and golfing.

Jordan Ortiz has been a massage therapist in Texas for 10 years now, but recently decided to take the plunge and moved to Iowa to be with his fiancé. It seems a bit crazy but he could not be happier with this decision! As he begins the journey as a massage therapist at the Evolve Wellness Center, he's thrilled to bring his education and experience to a brand new clientele. Jordan's expertise in sports massage, deep tissue massage, trauma informed therapy, trigger point, and craniosacral therapy will allow him to target the specific needs of each and every one of his client’s. Knowing their specific needs will allow him to work on healing not only their body, but also their mind. Jordan is currently in progress to becoming a Medical Massage Practitioner and should be licensed by Mid December! Jordan's ultimate goal as a massage therapist is to meet every one of his clients' needs and make them feel better after the massage.

Cassie Thompson is our resident science nerd, and she loves keeping current with research relating to pain and stress.  She has been practicing massage therapy for over 12 years and specializes in therapeutic massage, particularly deep tissue, neuromuscular, and myofascial modalities. She loves a good challenge, acting the detective to try to help clients solve any issue they may be encountering. Cassie’s overarching goal is to make sure each person is heard and supported through whatever they may be dealing with. She is also currently pursuing a B.S. in Medical Biology from the University of South Dakota. In her spare time she loves traveling with her husband, spending time in her garden and playing video games.
